We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented **Area Sales Manager (ASM)** to lead our field sales operations for the Professional Hair Color segment in the Mumbai region. This role is crucial for establishing our brand presence and achieving aggressive sales targets by managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) and driving salon relationships, consistent with a B2B sales management model in the professional beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management & Leadership (50%)
  • Recruitment & Training:** Hire, train, and mentor Business Development Executives (BDEs) on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market coverage.
  • Performance Management:** Set clear sales targets, monitor team performance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Field Coaching:** Conduct joint salon visits with BDEs to coach on pitches, product demonstrations, and relationship building.

Sales Strategy & Execution (30%)

  • Target Ownership:** Take full ownership of the area//'s primary and secondary sales targets for the hair color segment.
  • Market Mapping:** Identify and prioritize potential key accounts, large salon chains, and high-value independent salons in Mumbai.
  • Sales Planning:** Develop and execute strategic monthly/quarterly sales plans, including route planning and promotional activities.

Relationship Management (10%)

  • Key Account Handling:** Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with salon owners, head colorists, and major distributors.
  • Business Consultation:** Act as a brand ambassador, helping salons grow their color business using our products.
