Job Location - Visakhapatnam

The Tendering Manager will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.

  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's Operations Division.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on Bid Management and support systems.
  • Liaise with other OEMs, Suppliers, Third Party Agencies & Defence user departments to carry out the operational objectives.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes.
  • Establishes and implements bid operations-related policies, practices & standards to ensure effective and consistent execution with a high success rate.
  • Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates and staffing requirements for project Bid
  • Presents periodic team performance reports and bid metrics to the Managing Director for review and planning
  • Respond to all inbound/outbound official correspondence from internal/external stake holders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures and best practices in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.

Requirement

  • B.E./ B.TECH. preferred
  • Minimum of 15-20 years in the Indian Navy is required (MCPO/CPO from Tech Dept/ Artificer/Mech preferred)
  • Administrative/Management skills are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management Software (desired)
  • Experience in GEM/ other tendering portals is desirable
