Description

Description of the Job- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Under the integrated policies of the Company, perform duties in accordance with all Procedures, Protocols, Directives, Standards and Plans, and acts in accordance with "Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Principles" and "TPI Management Principles and Ethical Decision-Making System.

  • 1. Employee Relations / Industrial Relations: 
  • Should have attended conciliation and adjudication proceedings of legal matters concerning employees at Assistant Commissioner of Labour office & Labour Court. 
  • To initiate investigation / conducting domestic enquiry / taking disciplinary action on delinquent employees in case of various serious misconducts. 
  • Handling and negotiating with the union 
  • Handling employee's disputes & grievances and providing them appropriate counselling, if required on need basis for better performance, morale and wellbeing.
  • To assist and coach managers to deal effectively and empathetically on employee related matters in the shop floor. 
  • To advise the line managers on serious performance related issues of their team members and to facilitate and support them for performance improvement

2. Statutory Compliances:

  • Knowledge on compliance of statutory requirements under various Labour Legislations.
  • Liasoning with Director / Additional Director / Joint Director / Deputy Director of Industrial Safety and Health department.

  1. Grievance Handling & Resolution
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees to raise workplace concerns or grievances.
    • Investigate complaints thoroughly, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Ensure grievance resolution in compliance with company policy, labor laws, and ethical standards.
  2. Disciplinary & Corrective Action
    1. Guide and support supervisors and managers on handling misconduct or performance-related issues.
    2. Prepare and maintain documentation for disciplinary actions, warnings, and terminations.
    3. Ensure fair, consistent, and legally sound application of corrective procedures.
  3. Policy Implementation & Compliance
    1. Educate employees and leaders on HR policies, code of conduct, and labor regulations.
    2. Ensure adherence to statutory compliance under applicable labor laws (e.g., ID Act, Factories Act).
    3. Support audits, inspections, and documentation related to employee relations and legal compliance.
  4. Committee Interface 
    1. Act as liaison between management and works council, or employee welfare committees.
    2. Participate in negotiations, conflict resolution, and long-term engagement strategies.
  5. Employee Engagement & Culture
    1. Support initiatives to enhance employee morale, communication, and workplace culture.
    2. Analyze engagement feedback and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
    3. Assist in organizing employee welfare and recognition programs.
  6. Reporting & Documentation
    1. Maintain detailed records of all employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and interventions.
    2. Generate monthly reports on ER trends, compliance issues, and engagement scores.
  7. Training & Awareness
    1. Conduct awareness sessions for employees and supervisors on workplace conduct, grievance mechanisms, and legal rights.
    2. Support initiatives on harassment prevention, diversity, inclusion, and ethical behavior.

Master's degree in HR (Full Time)



Work Experience

  Minimum 6-8 years



Foreign Language/Grade

Speak: English / Tamil / Hindi (desirable)
