 Vice President – Forwarding Division

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented 
Regional Head – North (Freight Forwarding)
 to lead our operations across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities in North India. This leadership role requires a strong background in freight forwarding, client relationship management, pricing, and operational excellence. The Regional Head will drive 
business growth, profitability, and team development
 while ensuring alignment with central finance, compliance, and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership:
     Manage and grow the regional freight forwarding business with clear revenue and margin targets.
  • Business Development:
     Lead the sales team in acquiring new accounts and expanding business with existing customers.
  • Pricing & Strategy:
     Collaborate with the central pricing team while providing regional market insights to remain competitive.
  • Operations Management:
     Oversee end-to-end forwarding operations, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
     Ensure top-quality customer experience, quick issue resolution, and long-term client retention.
  • Team Leadership:
     Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams across sales, operations, documentation, and customer service.
  • Collaboration:
     Work closely with central finance, technology, and HR to maintain standardization and efficiency.
  • Market Intelligence:
     Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to position the company ahead in the region.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of 
    export-import regulations, documentation, and multimodal forwarding (air/sea/road/rail)
    .
  • Proven track record in 
    sales leadership and business development
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to 
    manage P&L and achieve financial goals
    .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with 
    ERP/CRM systems
     and technology-driven logistics solutions is a plus.
