Summary:

The Cluster Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the overall operational and financial success of multiple restaurants and dining outlets across a designated cluster of Akoya Hotel properties. This role is a key leadership position that involves supervising and guiding a team of restaurant staff, ensuring service standards are consistently met, and contributing to the strategic goals of the F&B division. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, experienced professional with a proven track record in multi-unit management, a strong business sense, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Multi-Unit Operations Management:

  • Assist the Cluster Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all assigned restaurants and F&B outlets within the cluster.
  • Conduct regular site visits to each property to ensure operational excellence, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Act as the point of contact for the managers of individual restaurants, providing support, guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and monitor operational procedures and policies to ensure consistency across all outlets.

2. Financial Performance & Revenue Growth:

  • Support the development and management of budgets for each restaurant within the cluster.
  • Analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, sales data, and cost reports, to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to control costs, minimize waste, and maximize profitability.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and promotional campaigns for the cluster's dining outlets.

3. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of restaurant staff and managers across the cluster.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality service and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues and conflicts, escalating to the Cluster Manager or HR as needed.

4. Quality Control & Guest Satisfaction:

  • Ensure that all food and beverage products and services meet Akoya Hotels' high-quality standards.
  • Monitor guest feedback across all outlets, addressing complaints and implementing solutions to improve service.
  • Work with the culinary teams to maintain menu quality and consistency.
  • Train staff on exceptional service standards and the importance of a "guest-first" approach.

5. Administrative & Strategic Support:

  • Assist the Cluster Restaurant Manager in developing and executing strategic plans for the F&B division.
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Prepare and present reports on performance, financial results, and operational metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to ensure the cluster's restaurants remain competitive.
