• Advantageous experience: lab automation, quality control, hematology/clinical pathology workflows.

About the Roles:

AV Consumables is seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist who will serve as the technical bridge between our blood collection tube products and end-users across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and healthcare facilities. This role is critical in providing technical support, customer training, workflow optimization, and NABL-aligned best practices, ensuring our customers experience superior product performance and seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Training & Education

2. Conduct on-site training sessions for phlebotomists, lab technicians, clinicians, and laboratory staff.

3. Train users on correct blood collection techniques, order of draw, sample handling, and appropriate tube selection.

4. Ensure customer practices align with NABL and international standards.

5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

6. Provide immediate technical assistance for product-related issues, instrument compatibility, or application errors.

7. Guide customers on correcting usage errors such as blood-to-additive ratio inconsistencies.

8. Document and resolve customer complaints in coordination with QA and product teams.

9. Pre- and Post-Sales Support

10. Collaborate with the sales team for product demos, presentations, and application studies.

11. Support installations, onboarding, and initial start-up activities at customer sites.

12. Assist in driving product adoption and customer satisfaction.

13. Customer Relationship Management

14. Build strong relationships with laboratory heads, clinicians, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

15. Collect customer feedback and relay insights to R&D and product development teams.

16. Strengthen brand visibility and trust through continuous engagement.

17. Workflow & Process Optimization

18. Analyze customer laboratory workflows to ensure efficient integration of AV Consumables' blood tube systems.

19. Recommend improvements for sample handling, pre-analytical processes, and tube utilization.

20. Documentation & Reporting

21. Prepare training reports, case studies, application notes, and technical newsletters.

22. Maintain accurate records of customer visits, support calls, issues resolved, and field observations.
