Job Purpose
We are looking for a MarTech Lead to own and manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) as a product and drive the MarTech operations for the organization. This role will be pivotal in shaping our digital marketing automation strategy, maximizing platform capabilities, and ensuring seamless execution of data-driven campaigns across channels. The ideal candidate will be both a product owner and hands-on operator, working closely with internal teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Strategy
- Serve as the Product Owner for SFMC, driving platform adoption and maturity.
- Identify and implement new features, tools, and integrations within SFMC.
- Define and maintain the MarTech roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with IT, digital, and BI teams to ensure data availability, integration, and scalability.
- Evaluate AI-powered capabilities (e.g., Einstein, Journey Builder) to optimize personalization and engagement.
MarTech Operations
- Lead end-to-end campaign management across email, SMS, push, WhatsApp, and other digital channels.
- Manage customer journeys, automation, and segmentation within SFMC.
- Ensure data hygiene, governance, and compliance (GDPR, DPDP Act).
- Track and report campaign analytics, attribution, and ROI.
- Work with stakeholders to design and execute always-on journeys and tactical campaigns.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing teams for campaign design and execution.
- Partner with CX and digital product teams to embed marketing automation into customer journeys.
- Align with brand team for consistent communication and design.
- Coordinate with data & analytics teams for insights-driven targeting and reporting.
- Work with technology partners/vendors for platform support, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Qualification & experience
- 5+ years' experience in MarTech, marketing automation, or CRM platforms. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, CX, IT, and data teams.
- Exposure to AI-led personalization and campaign optimization is a plus.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- MBA from a premier school
