Job Overview
The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for driving organizational growth through strategic partnerships, revenue diversification, and new market expansion. This role involves identifying and securing business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and developing innovative strategies to increase the company's market presence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Growth
- Develop and implement the company's business development strategy aligned with long-term organizational goals.
- Identify emerging markets, industries, and customer needs for potential expansion.
- Evaluate and pursue strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities.
2. Revenue Generation
- Drive top-line growth through acquisition of new clients, projects, and partnerships.
- Design and oversee business models to improve profitability and scalability.
- Establish revenue targets and performance KPIs for the business development team.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors, industry leaders, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, alliances, and strategic agreements.
4. Market Intelligence
- Conduct competitive analysis, market trends study, and business forecasts.
- Identify new product or service opportunities based on customer insights and market data.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on new revenue streams.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development and sales teams to achieve set objectives.
- Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure cohesive business growth strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate sales
- Experience in leading large teams and managing multi-million-dollar deals
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., technology, media, events, real estate, etc.) preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
