About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in handling Upwork and other online bidding platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in generating new business opportunities, client relationship management, and closing deals, especially in the mobile and web-based application industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end business development activities on Upwork and similar platforms.
- Identify, qualify, and bid on relevant projects to generate new business.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare proposals, estimations, and project plans.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent pipeline building and conversions.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in mobile and web-based applications.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements while ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business development with a strong focus on Upwork (and other freelance platforms).
- Proven track record of successfully bidding, winning projects, and driving revenue growth.
- Experience working with mobile and web application development companies is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT services, SDLC, and project scoping.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with other bidding portals like Freelancer, Guru, Fiverr, etc.
- Understanding of digital transformation trends, SaaS, and emerging tech.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹70,000.00 per month
