We are hiring – Production Head – Welding Consumables Manufacturing Plant

Job Summary:

The Production Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production process of the Welding Consumables manufacturing plant, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to achieve production targets within quality, cost, and safety standards. The role demands strong leadership, process knowledge, and technical expertise in welding consumables manufacturing processes (flux coating, wire drawing, extrusion, baking, and packaging).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Control:
    Plan and execute production schedules efficiently.
  • Process & Quality Management:
    Ensure consistent product quality and process improvements.
  • Manpower & Resource Management:
    Supervise, train, and optimize production staff.
  • Equipment & Maintenance Coordination:
    Maintain machines for smooth, uninterrupted production.
  • Cost & Inventory Control:
    Minimize wastage and monitor material usage.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance on the shop floor.
  • Reporting & Coordination:
    Prepare reports and collaborate with all related departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 12–15 years of experience in production management, preferably in
    welding consumables manufacturing
    .
  • Strong understanding of electrode manufacturing processes, raw materials, and machinery.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control systems .
  • Good communication and team management skills.
  • Hands-on exposure to production software/ERP systems.
