Role & responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales targets (gold, silver, and other business segments).
- Monitor branch-wise business performance and ensure consistent achievement of targets.
- Develop and execute regional strategies for market expansion and customer retention.
- Drive business volume through promotional campaigns, lead generation, and client engagement programs.
- Analyze regional market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
2. Branch Performance Management
- Supervise branch heads and ensure branch-level compliance, productivity, and profitability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and guide teams to improve key business parameters.
- Ensure each branch meets assigned business, operational, and customer service goals.
- Implement best practices across branches to maintain uniformity in business processes.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, and mentor branch managers and sales teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance appraisals, and training programs.
- Promote a high-performance culture and team spirit within the region.
4. Marketing & Promotional Activities
- Coordinate with the marketing team for execution of regional campaigns, events, and customer drives.
- Utilize regional marketing budgets effectively to maximize business visibility.
- Ensure proper utilization of marketing materials, leaflets, and digital promotions at branch level.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Strengthen customer satisfaction and trust through quality service and quick response.
- Ensure proper handling of customer feedback and grievances.
- Develop and maintain key client relationships to increase repeat and referral business.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 35 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in Gold loan/NBFC or Financial Services sector.
- Proven experience in managing multiple branches or territories.
- Strong understanding of retail gold loan / gold trading business model.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
