Job Title: HR & Compliance Executive / Assistant Manager

Location: Trivandrum / Kochi

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR & Compliance professional to support and manage core HR operations and statutory compliance for our Trivandrum/Kochi office. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, induction, exit formalities).
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRMS.
  • Support recruitment activities including coordination with hiring managers and agencies.
  • Assist in performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle grievance redressal and support conflict resolution.

Compliance:

  • Ensure timely filing and maintenance of statutory records under applicable labor laws (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
  • Liaise with government authorities and auditors for inspections and compliance audits.
  • Monitor and implement changes in labor laws and HR policies.
  • Maintain documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure third-party compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 412 years of experience in HR operations and statutory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
