Job Title: Area Sales Manager North Zone (Building Materials)

Location: North Zone (Preferred base: Delhi )

Experience: Minimum 15 years in relevant field

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting to: VP Sales & CEO

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering (Civil / Mechanical preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Building Materials industry (PPR, Tapes, Hoses, Garden Hoses, steel, tiles, paints, adhesives, or similar).
  • Strong exposure to Channel & Project Sales.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead large teams (20+ members).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the North Zone market (Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, etc.).
  • Analytical mind-set with the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team of approximately 25 members to achieve sales targets and market objectives.
  • Drive Channel Sales and Project Sales across the North Zone, ensuring deep market penetration and brand visibility.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for sales expansion and new customer acquisition.
  • Conduct market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Manage dealer/distributor networks and build strong relationships with key customers, contractors, builders, and architects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain) for smooth business operations.
  • Prepare and review techno-commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure profitability.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events in the region.
