Job Summary
You would be responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process for clients, ensuring seamless handling from claim intimation to settlement follow-ups. You will be the key point of contact for clients and AMCs regarding claim processes. You should be strategic and detail-oriented, ensuring timely documentation, filing, and resolution of claims while also contributing to business growth through lead generation and upselling.
Job Duties and Deliverables include, but are not limited to
- Constantly upgrading yourself on industry trends and claim procedures.
- Managing claim intimations and ensuring accurate registration of claims.
- Coordinating with AMCs for smooth claim processes and timely resolutions.
- Collecting, verifying, and maintaining claim documentation from clients.
- Filing all claims-related documents systematically for easy retrieval.
- Proactively following up on pending claims to ensure settlement.
- Identifying opportunities for lead generation and upselling additional products or services during client interactions.
- Supporting other general insurance operations, including client follow-ups and coordination, as needed.
- Demonstrate ownership to resolve complex claims issues, escalating when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- You have a bachelor's degree in administration, commerce, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in insurance claims processing.
- Ability to communicate correctly and clearly with all customers.
- Maintain a positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills
- Superior knowledge of insurance products and claim processes.
- Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
- Good listening ability to understand customer concerns and provide resolutions.
- Ability to function independently as well as in a team.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
