Job Overview

Xylem Karnataka is seeking a
Community Associate
to build, manage, and grow our online and offline communities. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong content creation abilities and a passion for fostering engaging interactions with students and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media, audience engagement, and digital content distribution—helping drive Xylem's vision of empowering learners across Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Management

  • Develop, plan, and create engaging content for platforms including social media, WhatsApp, Telegram, and the website.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to design visually appealing graphics, videos, and written content.
  • Monitor content trends and audience preferences to optimize strategies for improved engagement.

2. Community Engagement & Growth

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Xylem Karnataka's community, fostering a supportive and interactive environment.
  • Build and manage online groups, forums, and social media pages to encourage discussions and participation.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase engagement, grow community reach, and strengthen relationships with influencers and key stakeholders.

3. Channel Management

  • Oversee and optimize all digital channels, including Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
  • Implement strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and audience retention.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement in engagement initiatives.

4. Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with marketing and academic teams to align content with organizational goals.
  • Assist in organizing events, webinars, and live sessions to strengthen learner engagement.
  • Gather and analyze community feedback to support content, service, and product improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community management and content creation, preferably in the
    EdTech or education sector
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Kannada & English
    (Written and Spoken).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content distribution, and engagement strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation tools and social media management platforms.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to track and measure engagement metrics.
