Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to drive the technical execution of our projects while ensuring effective leadership, compliance with standards, and support for various departments

- Job Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the technical team in design, development, and implementation of solutions.
- Oversee the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions to meet project requirements.
- Project Leadership:
- Plan, execute, and monitor technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Manage project resources, timelines, and risks while communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Team Management & Technical Oversight:
- Provide clear direction and coaching to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Ensure technical accuracy, code quality, and adherence to architectural principles through regular reviews and guidance.
- Technical Documentation & Process Compliance:
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for projects and processes.
- Ensure all projects comply with internal standards, industry best practices, and legal or regulatory requirements.
- Support to BD & HR Departments:
- Collaborate with Business Development (BD) to provide technical insights and support during client engagements, proposals, and solution design.
- Assist HR in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of technical staff, ensuring alignment with the organizations objectives.
- Mandatory Skills
- Full Stack Development: Hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, with proficiency in PHP, Python, and
- Cloud Management: Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- (Experience with Azure/GCP is a plus.)
- Mobile Application Development: In-depth understanding of the mobile application development lifecycle for both Android and iOS, using native and hybrid technologies.
- AI Integration: Proficient in leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to boost productivity and enhance code quality.
- Deployment & DevOps: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and managing production environments.
- Architecture Design: Deep understanding of scalable, maintainable, and secure system architecture design.
- Live Product Management: Proven experience in managing live products or platforms with 10,000+ active users.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams in dynamic project environments.
- Product Development: Track record of leading end-to-end product developmentfrom prototyping to large-scale deployment.
- Technical Training: Capable of upskilling teams quickly on emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Development Methodologies: Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and iterative delivery.
- Code Quality & Review: Strong emphasis on coding standards, code review processes, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of secure coding practices, data privacy compliance, and basic application security principles.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to problem-solving and quality assurance in engineering deliverables.
