Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura's businesses around the world. Powai' s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura's global operations and are an integral part of Nomura's global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura's global business.

India Analytics Group – Analyst : Summary of Role

Roles & Responsibilities of the Analyst position:

qWork on assignments involving running news runs and screens, company profiling, and industry research
qPerform financial and merger modelling, after thorough perusal of annual reports
qPerform detailed financial and market analysis
qPerform valuations including trading and transaction comparable analysis, absolute valuation etc.
qPrepare client pitch books
qPrepare credit memos and other materials
qWork with Debt or Equity Capital Market teams
qWork very closely and in a coordinated manner with colleagues in other Nomura offices around the globe

qAbility to work well in multi-cultural teams as well as the willingness and capability to perform efficiently under time constraints
qStrong desire to excel, high degree of motivation and willing to take leadership and responsibility for projects
