Role Summary:
The Regional Sales Head will lead the sales team for North India, driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and spearheading new acquisitions to expand the organization's market presence. This is a team leadership position where the Sales Managers and their teams will directly report to the Regional Sales Head. The role demands strategic planning, team leadership, and expertise in client acquisition and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Acquisition:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the North India region.
Drive acquisitions of new clients and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and leverage them for business growth.
2. Team Leadership and Performance Management:
Lead and mentor the sales team, including Sales Managers and their teams, to achieve targets.
Develop performance benchmarks and ensure consistent achievement of regional goals.
Foster a high-performance culture by providing regular coaching, feedback, and motivation to the team.
3. Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with the companys business goals.Collaborate with the senior leadership to establish revenue targets and expansion plans.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
4. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely resolution of client issues.
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
5. Revenue and Business Expansion:
Drive revenue growth by increasing market share and ensuring consistent business expansion.
Optimize pricing strategies and terms to maximize profitability while meeting client expectations.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, pipeline activities, and financial performance.
Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to senior management.
Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of regional sales activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 35 years in a leadership role handling multiple locations.
Proven track record in developing new business and driving revenue growth.
Skills:Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics software.
