Job Summary
As a Presales Executive, you will play a critical role in driving sales by providing in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to potential clients. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to understand customer requirements, create tailored solutions, and deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong communication and technical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Customer engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Product demonstrations: Plan, organize, and deliver compelling product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution presentations to prospective customers.
- Solution design: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to design and propose customized solutions that address client needs and align with best practices.
- Proposal creation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Technical support: Serve as the technical expert during the sales cycle, answering client questions and resolving technical objections with confidence and clarity.
- Collaboration and communication: Act as a liaison between sales and product teams, conveying client feedback and influencing the product roadmap based on market demands.
- Market intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments.
- Sales enablement: Develop and maintain sales and marketing collateral, including presentations, case studies, and technical documentation.
- Pipeline management: Track and manage all pre-sales activities and customer interactions using a CRM system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a presales, technical sales, or solutions-oriented role.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle, customer engagement, and solution selling.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Experience with CRM software
- A customer-centric mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
