Job Summary

SmartGenLearn LLP is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company's growth in the education and learning solutions sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential clients through cold calls, emails, meetings, and networking.
  • Promote the company's educational products and services to schools, institutions, and corporate clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Understand client requirements and present suitable solutions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and regular sales reports for management review.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Good understanding of sales techniques and customer handling.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools preferred).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: BBA / MBA / Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development.
  • Candidates from the education or edtech sector will be preferred (not mandatory).
