Position Overview
We are looking for a Trainee – Business Development Executive who is passionate about technology and eager to build a career in IT sales and business development. The role offers hands-on exposure to government business processes, tender management, and client engagement in the IT infrastructure domain.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Government & PSU sector.
Support the preparation and submission of EOIs, RFPs, and tender documents.
Conduct market and competitor research to generate qualified leads.
Coordinate with internal teams (Technical, Pre-Sales, and Procurement) for proposal preparation.
Manage client communication, follow-ups, and documentation.
Maintain CRM records and project tracking reports.
Participate in client visits, vendor meets, and presentations as guided.
Desired Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong interest in IT Infrastructure, Networking, and Government Projects.
Good analytical, coordination, and documentation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
Graduate (BBA / BTech / BSc / BCom) or equivalent.
MBA / PGDM in Marketing or IT Management preferred (not mandatory).
Training Details
Duration: 6 Months (Trainee Period)
Stipend: As per company policy
Post-Training: Eligible for confirmation as Business Development Executive based on performance
