Company Description
The Sanjeev Kapoor Office is the headquarters of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor's culinary and media ecosystem in Mumbai. We ideate, produce, and publish premium food content; run kitchen and studio floors; develop recipes, cookbooks, and IP; manage brand partnerships and licensing; and support restaurant and consumer product ventures under the Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana umbrella.
Role Description
Own day-to-day office operations and maintenance—plumbing, electrical, HVAC/AC, appliances, AMCs, inventory & procurement, housekeeping vendors, office aesthetics, consumables budgeting, and cost-efficient operations—while ensuring a safe, compliant, and pleasant workplace. You will maintain and continually improve the physical infrastructure and workplace support services. This is a hands-on operational role with direct impact on daily business operations.
Responsibilities:
Facilities & Maintenance
Plan preventive maintenance and close breakdowns with SLAs for AC/HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water/RO, printers, Kitchen and pantry appliances, Studio appliances and assets, CCTV/access control, UPS, and fire systems.
Maintain asset register, service histories, and AMC calendar; coordinate with the building for common-area issues.
Vendors, AMCs & Procurement
Source, evaluate, and negotiate vendors; run 3-quote comparisons and manage contracts/renewals.
Track consumables (pantry, housekeeping, office supplies), set par levels and reorder points; conduct monthly stock audits.
Workplace Experience & Aesthetics
Uphold visual standards (lighting, signage, plants, furniture), seating plans, and minor refurbishments with minimal downtime.
Ensure shoot-/event-day readiness where applicable (studio/test kitchen, guest areas, green rooms).
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance for fire safety, drills, statutory checks, hygiene protocols; log and close corrective actions.
People Oversight & Admin Support
Schedule and supervise housekeeping/security/office assistants; run checklists and quality audits.
Coordinate travel/courier/meeting room readiness and general admin support.
Budgeting, Reporting & Systems
Prepare OPEX/CAPEX budgets; monitor monthly variance, drive cost-saving initiatives without quality drop.
Publish weekly ticket trackers and a monthly dashboard (uptime, SLAs, costs, inventory accuracy, audits, energy).
Implement simple CMMS or shared tracker for tickets, AMCs, inventory, and vendor SLAs.
Qualifications
Experience in facilities/office operations/administration (production/media/ F&B environment a plus).
Strong vendor management, negotiation, and budgeting skills; basic troubleshooting in electrical/AC/plumbing.
Tools: Google Sheets/Excel, ticketing/CMMS; WhatsApp coordination.
Languages: English & Hindi. Calm under pressure; high ownership; on-call for emergencies.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Experience in office administration, including managing supplies and technology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to coordinate office events and handle day-to-day correspondence
Experience in supervising administrative staff and managing office logistics
Proficiency in office software and equipment
