  • Regular assessment of student progress and preparation of appropriate progress reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory food hygiene, food safety legislation & health & safety codes of practice.
  • Contribute to the implementation & upkeep of Food Safety Management Systems & training to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Good communication skills with a pleasing personality
  • To ensure that all Health, Safety, & Hygiene procedures are followed and assist in the maintenance of high standards of Health & Safety throughout the college.
  • Demonstrating and training all food production related theory and practical lectures.
  • Should have the ability to coordinate with faculty members of the department.
  • Should be able to conduct classes through audio and visual methods.

Essential Skills

  • Should have an in-depth knowledge of the subject.
  • Should have a passion for teaching the students and understanding their educational requirements.
  • Should be able to grasp the complex information and convey the same to the students in a simplified form.
  • Should be able to advice and counsel the students on their career prospects.
  • Should have a dedicated and committed power to continuously recommend suggestions to improve the curriculum and general discipline.
  • Should have excellent time management and organizational skills along with computer proficiency.
