About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Purchase Manager
to manage and streamline the procurement operations of our restaurant group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality food, beverages, kitchen equipment, and other operational supplies while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

This position requires a deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality supply chain, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for food, beverages, kitchen equipment, consumables, and other restaurant essentials.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with the kitchen, operations, and finance departments.
  • Regularly review supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards.
  • Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and timely payments.
  • Establish long-term vendor relationships to support the company's operational and cost goals.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to food safety, procurement, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchase costs, savings, and supplier performance for management review.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience
    in procurement or purchase management within the
    restaurant or hospitality industry
    is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B categories, supplier networks, and sourcing processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of cost control and inventory management principles.
