Job Summary
The Service Staff is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to hotel guests, ensuring a pleasant dining or service experience. This role includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily operations in accordance with hotel standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist guests with seating, menu selections, and special requests.
- Provide prompt and courteous service throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Food & Beverage Operations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve meals and drinks according to hotel standards.
- Ensure tables, cutlery, and service areas are properly set and maintained.
- Clear tables and manage table turnover efficiently.
Operational Support
- Assist with restaurant setup and closing duties.
- Refill water, replenish condiments, and reset tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with kitchen staff, supervisors, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Attend team briefings and training sessions as required.
- Support other hotel departments when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in hospitality or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
