About the Role
Merisha Films Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Business Development Executive who understands the entertainment and production ecosystem and can independently manage the entire business cycle —
from lead generation to deal closure
.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, well-spoken, disciplined in follow-ups, and understands how clients in this industry operate.
A key requirement for this position is:
Strong, proven experience in generating leads and business through LinkedIn within the same industry.
Only candidates with relevant LinkedIn BD experience should apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. LinkedIn-Based Lead Generation
- Identify and reach out to potential clients such as brands, advertising agencies, production houses, corporates, creators, and music labels.
- Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline through consistent LinkedIn networking, personalized outreach, and industry research.
- Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions with complete ownership.
2. Client Pitching & Requirement Analysis
- Present the company's services professionally, including:
- Ad Film Production
- Documentary Production
- AI-Driven Ad Films
- Post-Production (Editing, DI/Color, VFX, Sound)
- Music Production & Background Score
- Understand project briefs clearly and recommend suitable solutions.
- Share past work, capabilities, and tailor proposals based on the client's needs.
3. Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Manage commercial discussions confidently and transparently.
- Finalize budgets, deliverables, and timelines after internal approval.
- Close projects end-to-end while ensuring accuracy in documentation and commitments.
4. Project Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams (Directors, Editors, VFX, Music, Post-Production) for smooth project execution.
- Ensure timely communication between clients and production teams.
- Manage revisions, approvals, and delivery schedules professionally.
5. Achieving Monthly Revenue Targets
- Meet monthly business targets assigned according to the salary bracket.
- Maintain weekly progress reports, follow-up sheets, and updated CRM trackers.
- Identify new opportunities, industry trends, and collaborations to support business growth.
Compensation, Performance Policy & Incentives
- Salary:
₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (depending on experience). - Salary Disbursement:

linked to target
achievement. - Salary is released
after the monthly target is achieved
. - In case of partial achievement, payout may be processed proportionately (management-approved).

1. Mandatory Requirement
- Candidates
must
have experience generating business through
LinkedIn
in the entertainment, production, or post-production industry.
2. Target-Linked Compensation
- Monthly targets are communicated in writing.
- Salary is strictly dependent on achieving these targets.
3. Commercial Approvals
- All pricing, budgets, and commitments must be approved by management prior to confirmation.
4. Professional Conduct
- Clear, respectful, and ethical communication is expected at all times.
- Misrepresentation or over-commitment will not be tolerated.
5. Confidentiality
- All client information, budgets, and internal structures are confidential and must not be disclosed.
6. Probation & Review
- The first three months will be probation with monthly performance review meetings.
