Job Description

Role Overview:

As an Audit & Assurance Specialist (Red Team), you will play a crucial role in assessing and enhancing the security posture of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to simulate real-world cyber threats and vulnerabilities to identify weaknesses in our systems, processes, and controls. You'll collaborate with other cybersecurity professionals to ensure the organization's resilience against attacks.

Responsibilities:

1. Red Team Activities:

o Conduct simulated attacks (ethical hacking) to assess vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

o Perform penetration testing, including DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks, phishing campaigns, vishing (voice phishing), and privilege escalation attempts.

o Mimic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to evaluate our defences. Perform borderless red team activity to penetrate all layered security controls. Has good understanding about and experience in LOL BINS and LOL BAS attacks, excellent understanding of red team frameworks.

o Provide actionable recommendations to improve security based on findings.

2. Risk Assessment and Reporting:

o Evaluate risks associated with identified vulnerabilities.

o Prepare detailed reports on red team assessments, including identified weaknesses and potential impact.

o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize remediation efforts.

3. Security Awareness and Training:

o Educate employees on security best practices, emphasizing the importance of vigilance against real-world threats.

o Conduct security awareness sessions and tabletop exercises.

4. Incident Response Support:

o Assist in incident response efforts during security incidents.

o Analyze attack patterns and provide insights for incident resolution.

5. Continuous Improvement:

o Stay updated on emerging threats, attack techniques, and security trends.

o Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

o Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

o Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

o Any relevant red team or penetration testing certifications.

  • Experience:

o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on red team activities.

o Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security tools.

o Experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Core Impact).

o Familiarity with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.

o Ability to think like an adversary and anticipate attack vectors.

Additional Information:

  • You will work closely with other cybersecurity teams, including blue team (defenders) and incident response.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
  • Applicant must be willing to sign an NDA, and undergo security verification, including police verification.
  • Applicant must be an Indian national.
  • The role is primarily on-premises only, with limited remote support
