Job Description : Manager / Specialist: Cloud Security

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join the Information Security team. The role will focus on securing JSW Group's cloud environments (public, private, and hybrid) and ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies, compliance mandates, and business objectives. The candidate will collaborate with IT, business, and OEM partners to strengthen our cloud security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage cloud security controls across cloud platforms used within JSW.
  • Conduct cloud risk assessments, security architecture reviews, and gap analysis for existing and upcoming cloud deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, RBI, CERT-In, DPDP, etc.) and internal policies in the cloud environment.
  • Work closely with IT & business teams to design and enforce Identity & Access Management (IAM), encryption, key management, and secure configuration practices.
  • Lead cloud vulnerability management and remediation efforts in coordination with the SOC and infrastructure teams.
  • Assist in deployment and monitoring of CASB, CSPM, CWPP, and cloud-native security tools.
  • Monitor for threats, misconfigurations, and anomalous activities in the cloud; coordinate with SOC for incident response.
  • Support data protection initiatives for sensitive and business-critical data hosted in the cloud.
  • Prepare dashboards, KRIs/KPIs, and reports for management, highlighting cloud security risks and improvements.
  • Evaluate and onboard new cloud security solutions, keeping cost, performance, and scalability in mind.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP preferred).
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud security services (IAM, KMS, Security Groups, GuardDuty, Defender for Cloud, Prisma, etc.).
  • Familiarity with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with compliance & regulatory frameworks relevant to manufacturing and BFSI sectors.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM/SOAR integration with cloud security events.
  • Ability to drive secure cloud adoption projects in alignment with business needs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 58 years of experience in Information Security with at least 3 years in cloud security.
  • Preferred certifications: CCSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP (Cloud focus), or equivalent.
  • Exposure to large enterprise or manufacturing industry setups is an advantage.
