Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Nashik. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in daily operations, including preparing and cooking meals, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. The role will also involve menu planning, inventory management, and collaborating with other departments for event catering. The Sous Chef will be responsible for training junior chefs and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills: Expertise in preparing and cooking various cuisines, menu planning, and recipe development
- Management skills: Supervising and training kitchen staff, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Quality and safety: Ensuring food quality, compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining kitchen hygiene
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in a high-end hotel or resort kitchen is a plus
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
