Position Overview:

Doctor Rekha Ayurveda is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records. You will manage complex financial processes, from accounts reconciliation to preparing financial statements, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Management: Oversee and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using Tally.
  • Invoice & Payment Processing: Manage invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, and maintain records of all financial transactions.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate entry of financial data into Tally and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly and year-end reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Tax Compliance: Support the preparation and filing of tax-related documents, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and company policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements using Tally.
  • Expense Monitoring: Track business expenses and ensure proper documentation, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the financial integrity of the company.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and addressing queries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, tax filing, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in the wellness or retail industry.
  • Experience in managing audits and tax filings.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
