Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Associate to strengthen our client base and expand business opportunities. This role involves identifying leads, building client relationships, supporting marketing initiatives, and converting inquiries into successful projects. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, representing the brand with professionalism and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients for interior design, renovation, and turnkey projects.
- Client Relationship Management
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Nurture existing client relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Sales & Conversion Support
- Coordinate client meetings, presentations, and site visits with the design team.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and follow-ups for closure.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM tools.
- Marketing & Branding Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns, social media strategies, and events.
- Represent Gurjot Shan Designs at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
- Market Research & Insights
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and client preferences to provide inputs for business strategy.
- Suggest innovative ideas for brand positioning and business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client servicing (preferably in design, real estate, or luxury lifestyle industry).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Passion for design, interiors, and building client connections.
