Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Procurement - Transformer based in Mumbail. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing supplier evaluation, managing procurement processes, optimizing materials and supply chain management, and ensuring efficient contract management. The AGM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, maintain relationships with vendors, and monitor compliance with company standards to achieve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Supplier Evaluation and relationship management
  • Strong skills in Procurement and Materials Management, including procurement planning and cost analysis
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, with a focus on optimizing inventory and ensuring timely material availability
  • Proficiency in Contract Management, including negotiation, compliance, and documentation handling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to manage teams effectively
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications will be a plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing or transformer industry is highly desirable
