AGM/DGM (IT Infrastructure)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic AGM / DGM IT Infrastructure person to lead our organizations technology infrastructure operations, cybersecurity implementations. This role is responsible for managing the complete IT infrastructure landscapeincluding network operations, enterprise security, cloud, data center, automation integrations, and business continuity—while driving innovation and aligning IT initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Strategy & Operations:

• Define and lead the infrastructure strategy spanning data centers, network architecture (including high-throughput systems for content transfer), server environments, end users support and hybrid/cloud systems (e.g., editorial tools, asset management, print workflows).
• Lead and manage nationwide IT infrastructure operations, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and maintain enterprise-level cybersecurity frameworks, including VAPT Testing.
• Network security, including firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, and SD-WAN performance.

Media Workflow & Collaboration:

• Integrate IT infrastructure with newsroom and editorial platforms enabling seamless collaboration between editorial, design, and print teams with minimal latency.

Resilience & Availability:

• Develop robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans tailored for mission-critical publishing timelines (e.g., print deadlines), including on-site redundancy and uptime guarantees.
• Monitor infrastructure KPIs, downtime reports, and system efficiency to ensure service quality.

Team Leadership & Governance:

• Lead and mentor IT professionals (network engineers, system admins, support staff). Manage vendor relationships for print-specific hardware/software. Implement governance, IT policies, and compliance standards.

Vendor & Budget Management:

• Oversee budgeting, vendor negotiation, RFPs, and contract management—especially for print production vendors (e.g., print equipment, specialized software).
• Manage vendors and contracts for infrastructure services and digital solutions.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs around system uptime, print workflow reliability, and IT support responsiveness. Regularly report infrastructure health to leadership.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

• Act as a key partner to editorial, production, print, and operations teams to understand technology needs and translate them into resilient, efficient infrastructure solutions.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of network architecture, security, and performance management.
• In-depth experience with SD-WAN, Cloud Networking, Data Centers.
• Expertise in ITIL, cybersecurity implementation, and compliance auditing.
• Innovative thinking with a disruptive mindset, business acumen, and a strong focus on governance and change management.
• Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills.

Certifications Preferred:

• CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE7, ITIL

Qualification & Experience:

• Any Graduate / Post Graduate
• Minimum 15 years of post-degree experience in IT Infrastructure / Data Center / Cybersecurity roles.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation and infrastructure modernization projects.
