Job Description

We are hiring a Senior O2C Associate – Cash Applications to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. This is a full-time on-site role in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in cash applications and AR processes, preferably with exposure to NetSuite and US clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply customer payments (Checks, ACH, Wires, EFT, Credit Cards) to accounts
  • Reconcile unapplied cash and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite and Excel
  • Generate cash flow and bank reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Support month-end/quarter-end closing
  • Collaborate with AR and collections teams
  • Assist in customer and bank account reconciliations
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Provide audit support and ensure compliance

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in Cash Applications/O2C/Accounts Receivable
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, etc.)
  • Familiarity with US banking systems and payment methods
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to US GAAP, SOX, and revenue recognition
  • Experience with Jira, JPM Access, and NetSuite scripting
  • Understanding of US business culture
  • Audit support experience
