Job Title: Support Engineer - Data Engineering & Workflow Monitoring

Location: Navi Mumbai

Duration: Fulltime

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Support Engineer to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring data workflows, debugging pipelines, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. This role requires strong technical expertise in Databricks and Azure, along with a foundational understanding of ITIL practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor scheduled jobs and data pipelines across Databricks Workflows and Azure Data Engineering landscape.
  • Identify and debug issues in data pipelines, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide timely responses and resolutions to incidents or escalate to the next level when necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to ensure smooth data operations.
  • Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and escalation paths in alignment with ITIL Foundation practices.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks Data Engineering and Databricks Workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services including Data Lake, Data Factory, and Monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation principles and incident management workflows.
  • Experience in monitoring tools and alerting systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Databricks or Azure technologies.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.

Prior experience in a support or operations role within a data engineering environment
