Currently House of Shipping is looking to identify a high caliber Front Office Admin & Travel Desk Executive.
We are seeking a dynamic and organized professional to manage front office operations and travel desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in handling domestic and international travel arrangements, with a strong focus on US business travel. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- This position is an on-site position for Chennai.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline; certification in travel/tourism/hospitality is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in front office and travel desk roles.
- Hands-on experience with domestic and international travel bookings.
- Familiarity with visa processes, especially for the US.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and travel management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception duties including greeting visitors, handling calls, and managing courier services. Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the front office area.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist in organizing internal events.
- Handle end-to-end travel arrangements for employees including flight bookings, hotel reservations, visa processing, and ground transportation.
- Specialize in managing international travel itineraries, especially for US business trips.
- Liaise with travel agencies and vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely bookings.
- Maintain travel records and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and budget guidelines.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
