Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist with a passion for beauty, skincare, and wellness to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our digital presence, driving organic traffic, and increasing visibility for our brand and products across search engines.

You'll collaborate closely with content creators, social media teams, and e-commerce managers to ensure that our brand ranks prominently for high-converting, relevant skincare and beauty keywords.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to the skincare and beauty market.
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and product pages to improve rankings.
  • Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-optimized blog posts, product guides, and educational materials.
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and overall website health (mobile-first, load speed, etc.).
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes (e.g., broken links, site structure, indexing issues).
  • Build high-quality backlinks through ethical outreach strategies.
  • Track and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Stay up to date with beauty industry trends and evolving SEO best practices.
  • Work with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) to ensure product pages are optimized.
  • Align SEO with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and influencer collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2–4+ years) as an SEO Specialist, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or wellness industry.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and ranking strategies.
  • Familiarity with content marketing and how it integrates with SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, Google Data Studio, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience working with DTC (direct-to-consumer) beauty brands.
  • Understanding of skincare ingredients and how consumers search for solutions (e.g., "best retinol cream for acne").
  • Knowledge of multilingual or international SEO is a plus.

  • Bounce rate and time-on-site improvements
  • Organic conversion rates
  • Backlink acquisition quality/quantity
  • Domain authority improvements
