We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Office Specialist to be the welcoming face of our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, empathy, and proactive solutions.
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist guests and coordinate reservations.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Conduct night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management review.
- Uphold security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management related to front desk operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for handling guest inquiries professionally.
- Experience in guest relations, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus for those interested in evening shifts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of resort operations or hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
