Sales Experience & Industry Background

  • 5 to 6 years of overall sales experience, with at least 3 years in computer software and hardware industry.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in selling security solutions (preferred).
  • Experience in direct selling and handling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Background in data security, encryption, or access controls (strong plus).
  • Hardware and solution sales experience.
  • Selling security services or similar product lines (preferred).
  • Prior experience in BFSI, Space Applications, or Defense segment.
  • Experience selling into large commercial accounts.

Sales Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong prospecting skills: ability to secure meetings with critical contacts via cold calling, emails, networking, and social media.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets, quotas, or goals.
  • Ability to forecast accurately and deliver results.
  • Strong time and territory management skills.
  • Ability to understand data flow in large organizations and apply data security solutions.
  • Capability to learn and articulate solution value points effectively.

Relationship & Market Engagement

  • Strong experience in developing, engaging, and managing client relationships.
  • Relationships with security partners/resellers (a plus).
  • Experience in identifying marketing initiatives and ensuring execution.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and customize solutions accordingly.
  • Collaboration with technical teams to ensure technical excellence in delivery.
