We are looking for a Head of Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives and expand our footprint in the IT and technology solutions space. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone with 3–5 years of proven success in B2B technology sales who thrives on building partnerships, closing deals, and shaping go-to-market strategies. You'll be responsible for driving revenue, unlocking new opportunities, and positioning us as a trusted partner for enterprise clients across industries.
What You'll Do
Market Expansion
Identify high-potential industries and clients in domains such as finance, healthcare, SaaS, and digital commerce.
Track emerging technology trends (cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, SaaS) to create forward-looking business opportunities.
Pipeline Ownership
Develop and execute outreach strategies through networking, digital campaigns, events, and partnerships.
Manage a consistent, high-quality sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure.
Strategic Partnerships
Build strong alliances with technology vendors, resellers, and channel partners.
Co-create value propositions that enhance market penetration and solution offerings.
Deal Leadership
Lead pitches, negotiations, and contract closures for enterprise clients.
Develop tailored solutions with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product).
Client Success & Growth
Nurture long-term client relationships to secure renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities.
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and decision-makers.
Performance & Strategy
Own business development KPIs including revenue targets, conversion rates, and ROI.
Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Team Development
Mentor junior team members and contribute to shaping the broader BD roadmap and market positioning.
What We're Looking For
Experience: 3–5 years in B2B sales, business development, or account management in the technology sector (IT services, SaaS, or consulting). Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding revenue goals.
Commercial Acumen: Strong grasp of IT solutions (ERP, CRM, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity) and ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
Tools: Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce), MS Office, and data-driven decision-making.
Mindset: Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and adaptable. Skilled at building trust, negotiating, and influencing at senior levels.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field. MBA is a plus.
Bonus Points For
Certifications such as AWS/Google Cloud Sales, ITIL, or CSP.
Experience in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise digital transformation.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, market research tools, or analytics platforms.
