Core responsibilities

  • Supervising staff:

Manage, train, and schedule kitchen employees to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Menu development:

Assist the executive chef with menu planning, creating new dishes, and calculating menu item prices.

  • Food preparation:

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensure consistency, and prepare dishes as needed.

  • Inventory and ordering:

Track inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs.

  • Quality control:

Ensure all food meets high-quality standards and that kitchen staff adhere to health and safety regulations.

  • Kitchen management:

Maintain kitchen equipment, manage the kitchen in the executive chef's absence, and ensure a prompt workflow.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Culinary expertise: Mastery of cooking techniques and a strong understanding of different cuisines.
  • Leadership and management: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Communication: Clear communication skills to work with the executive chef, staff, and other departments.
  • Time management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving: Skill in quickly and effectively resolving kitchen challenges.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous focus on quality, presentation, and safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹40,000.00 per month
