Experience Required: 5-6 years

Salary range: 30,000 per month+ incentives

Job Summary-

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our furnishings store's sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, managing the sales team, and ensuring an exceptional in-store customer experience. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and customer service. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of home furnishings trends, and a passion for helping customers create beautiful living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Performance-

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for the store.
  • Implement strategies to increase foot traffic and conversion rates

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Train staff on product knowledge, upselling techniques, and sales processes.

Customer Relationship Management-

  • Ensure a premium shopping experience by maintaining high service standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints and handle complex sales or service issues.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, designers, and commercial clients.

Product & Inventory Knowledge

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest furniture trends, styles, and inventory.
  • Ensure proper product displays and visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Work closely with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and place reorders.

Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, bestsellers, and under performing products.

Promotions & Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute in-store promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends.

Store Operations & Standards

  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand presentation standards.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, and maintain security of store assets.

Collaboration with Interior Designers

  • Support and manage partnerships with in-house or external interior designers.
  • Offer customized solutions for residential or commercial furnishing needs.

Customer Follow-up & After-Sales Service

  • Ensure timely follow-ups on quotes, deliveries, and customer inquiries.
  • Monitor post-sale satisfaction and manage returns or service issues when needed.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Assist in managing the store's sales budget and operational expenses efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and CRM software
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a sales Manager or Senior Sales Associate in retail, preferably in home furnishings or interior decor.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and team management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in furniture, home decor, or interior design retail.
  • Knowledge of space planning or interior styling is a plus.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
