Job description
We are seeking a motivated and performance-driven Telecaller / Business Development Associate (BDA) to support our client acquisition and revenue growth. This is a target-based role that involves cold calling, lead generation, meeting arrangements, market study, and lead conversion. The role also requires gathering client insights from calls, analyzing market trends, and providing feedback and new ideas to improve sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Cold Calling
Make outbound calls to prospective clients and introduce company products/services.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly lead generation and calling targets.
Meeting & Appointment Setting
Arrange client meetings (virtual/in-person) for the sales team/management.
Coordinate follow-ups before and after meetings to ensure progress.
Lead Conversion & Sales Support
Work closely with the sales team to convert qualified leads into paying clients.
- Handle client queries, objections, and provide appropriate solutions.
Achieve monthly/quarterly business development targets.
Market Study & Feedback
Gather insights from client interactions about market needs, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.
- Share feedback and new suggestions with the management team to refine sales pitches, product positioning, and marketing strategies.
Contribute to creating new answers/approaches for commonly asked client questions.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, meetings, and conversion progress in CRM/Excel.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports on targets, market findings, and client feedback.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong research ability to study markets and competitors.
- Target-driven mindset with ability to perform under pressure.
- Persuasive, confident, and customer-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English and regional language(s).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
- 0–1 years of experience in telecalling/inside sales/business development (preferred).
- Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to work in a target-based role are also encouraged to apply.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of outbound calls and connections made.
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Meetings successfully arranged and followed through.
- Lead-to-client conversion ratio.
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Quality of market insights and client feedback shared.
