Position : Business Development Associate– Sales (SAAS)Position Type:Full time / Permanent.Department: SalesLocation: CentralBangaloreExperience Required: 2 - 5 years in sales, including experience selling SAAS products in India andworking with distributors and resellers. Role Overview:· The Business development Associate will beresponsible for managing and driving sales growth of SAAS products in India.· This is a field -based role that involvesextensive travel to build relationships with clients and resellers, identifynew market opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.· Based in Central Bangalore, the positionrequires on -site client interactions, conducting product demonstrations, andensuring successful execution of sales strategies. Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Development:· Develop and execute sales strategies to meet andexceed revenue targets.· Identify and pursue new business opportunitiesin targeted regions within India.· Build a strong sales pipeline by engaging withpotential clients and distributors. 2. Client andDistributor Management:· Establish and maintain strong relationships withclients and distributors.· Act as the primary point of contact for clients,addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.· Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners.3. Market Researchand Analysis:· Analyse market trends, competitor activities,and customer requirements in India.· Provide insights and recommendations to refinesales strategies and product offerings.· Stay updated on relevant trade regulations andcompliance requirements. 4. ProductDemonstrations and Presentations:· Conduct on -site and virtual productdemonstrations tailored to the needs of clients.· Develop compelling sales presentations toshowcase product value and benefits.· Collaborate with marketing teams to createregion -specific promotional materials. 5. Travel and FieldEngagement:· Travel extensively within India to meet clients,distributors, and resellers.· Represent the company at trade shows,exhibitions, and client meetings.· Strengthen relationships with key stakeholdersthrough regular face -to -face interactions.6. Reporting and CRMManagement:· Use CRM tools to manage leads, track salesactivities, and analyse performance metrics.· Prepare and present sales reports to themanagement team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.· Maintain accurate and up -to -date records ofclient interactions and sales activities. 7. Collaboration andStrategy Development:· Work closely with internal teams, includingmarketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of salesorders.· Contribute to the development of long -termstrategies for expanding markets in India.· Provide feedback to product teams on clientrequirements and preferences. Required Skills andQualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business,Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).Experience:· 2 -5 years of experience in sales, includingselling SaaS products in India.· Proven track record of achieving sales targets.Sales Skills:· Strong negotiation, presentation, andrelationship -building skills.· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRMtools for managing sales pipelines and client data.· Communication:   Excellent verbal and written communication skills,with fluency in English and any regional languages (preferred).· Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel and meetclients. Key Competencies:· Customer -Centric: Focused on understanding andaddressing the needs of clients.· Result -Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieveand exceed sales goals.· Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic andmulticultural business environment.· Collaborative: Works effectively with cross -functionalteams and external partners.· Analytical: Uses data and insights to drive informeddecisions and refine strategies.
