Our client , a reputed BPO / Call Centre group with operations across major Indian metros/ cities. as part of their strategic expansion in Government Related Back Office i- They are looking for Seasoned BD Manager (Government relations HQ at Delhi.) with deep experience in the HR services industry to lead this vertical from the front. The role involves setting up the business architecture, client acquisition, delivery across geographies, and scaling the vertical to serve external clients in the BPO/ITES, retail, and service sectors.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. The BDM will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with key Government Ministries, including but not limited to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Tourism, and Ministry of Women Empowerment. The role will primarily focus on acquiring new government business in the ITES (BPO) sector, with opportunities in both voice and non-voice services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government ministries, departments, and public sector undertakings to explore and acquire business opportunities in ITES, BPO services (voice and non-voice).
- Identify and target new business opportunities within government projects, leveraging industry knowledge, networking, and strategic sales techniques to secure contracts and increase revenue.
- Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of proposals and bids for government tenders and projects. Awareness on compliance with all government regulations and requirements.
- Maintain long-term relationships with government clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and repeat business.
- Stay updated on government initiatives, policies, and procurement processes to proactively identify business development opportunities
- Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, legal, and delivery teams, to ensure smooth implementation and service delivery of government projects.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, project status, and pipeline to senior management. Assist in the development of business development strategies and plans.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, RFPs, and tender submissions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record in acquiring business from government organizations or public sector units.
- Knowledge of the ITES (BPO) industry and its services, particularly in voice and non-voice sectors.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with government decision-makers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of business development experience, with a focus on government relations or public sector sales.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in ITES, BPO, or related sectors, with knowledge of government projects and tenders.
- Good knowledge of Government offices in Delhi.
