About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
VAPT Associate Director
to lead our cybersecurity testing engagements, manage client relationships, and provide strategic direction on offensive security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and red teaming, along with the ability to manage large-scale engagements and mentor teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    end-to-end VAPT engagements
    across web, mobile, network, APIs, and cloud environments.
  • Design and implement
    penetration testing strategies
    aligned with client security requirements.
  • Oversee and review detailed VAPT reports, ensuring findings are accurate, prioritized, and business-focused.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to
    develop security roadmaps
    and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of VAPT professionals, driving skill development and capability enhancement.
  • Engage in
    pre-sales and proposal discussions
    , providing technical expertise during client pitches.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, frameworks, and client-specific security policies.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, exploits, and industry trends.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years
    of experience in
    VAPT, offensive security, or ethical hacking
    , including at least
    3+ years in leadership roles
    .
  • Strong technical expertise in:
  • Web & mobile application security
  • Network and infrastructure penetration testing
  • Cloud security assessments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Secure code review and API testing
  • Proficiency in tools such as
    Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, Kali Linux, Cobalt Strike, Qualys, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of security standards and frameworks (
    OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001
    ).

Preferred Certifications

  • OSCP
    (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
  • OSWE / OSEP
  • CEH
    (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CPT / GPEN / GXPN
  • CISSP
    (preferred but not mandatory)
