We are expanding our offering to include advertising, content creation, creator campaigns, and performance analytics — enabling a one-stop growth solution for music professionals.
Role Summary:
We're seeking a Sales Director to lead our commercial strategy and revenue growth. This person will develop and execute a go-to-market plan targeting artists, labels, and partners, build relationships across the music ecosystem, and scale the company's client base across multiple service verticals (influencer, playlist, paid media, and brand campaigns).
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the full sales and partnership strategy for artists, labels, distributors, and brands.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team; set and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to upsell clients into new growth products (e.g. ads, creator collaborations, analytics tools, brand sponsorships).
- Develop partnerships with labels, distributors, management companies, agencies, and platforms.
- Drive enterprise-level deals with music companies and brands looking to engage audiences via music and creator marketing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to refine offerings and deliver value to clients.
- Forecast, analyze, and report on sales performance, pipeline, and ROI.
- Represent the company at music industry events, conferences, and brand marketing forums.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, partnerships, or business development in music, creator marketing, or digital media.
- Strong network across artists, labels, distributors, and the broader music industry.
- Proven experience closing high-value deals and growing revenue in startup or music-tech environments.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Deep understanding of music marketing, digital campaigns, streaming platforms, and creator ecosystems.
- Experience building and leading sales teams, setting strategy, and hitting targets.
- Data-driven, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience in brand partnerships, talent/influencer management, or creative agencies.
- Knowledge of emerging tech in music (AI, Web3, fan engagement tools, etc.).
- Global or regional experience (India, SEA, MENA, EU, or US)
KPIs:
- Revenue growth (quarterly and annual).
- New client acquisition (artists, labels, brands).
- Client retention and upsell rates.
- Expansion into new service categories and markets.
- Average deal size and gross margin per campaign.
