Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our business in the North region. This is a strategic leadership role with a primary focus on growing our presence in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) channel. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for steering sales, ensuring operational excellence, driving local marketing initiatives, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety across all outlets in the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Management:
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets for the North region.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to drive performance and market penetration.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, franchisees, and new partners in the QSR channel.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
2. QSR & Operations Management:
- Oversee the entire operations of company-owned and franchised outlets in the North region.
- Ensure consistent delivery of product quality, service standards, and customer experience as per the Maha Chai brand promise.
- Manage inventory, supply chain, and logistics for the region to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operational activities.
3. Marketing & Business Development:
- Conceptualize and execute localized marketing and promotional activities to drive footfall and brand loyalty.
- Work closely with the central marketing team to adapt national campaigns for the regional audience.
- Identify and explore new business development opportunities, including new franchise partnerships and prime location acquisitions.
4. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance:
- Serve as the regional custodian for hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular and surprise audits of all outlets to ensure 100% compliance with FSSAI regulations and company hygiene protocols.
- Implement corrective actions and training programs to address any hygiene or safety gaps.
- Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness among all team members and partners.
5. Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of Area Managers, Sales Officers, and Operations Executives.
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in sales and operations management, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role.
- Industry Background: Mandatory experience in the QSR/Food & Beverage/Hospitality industry.
- Geographical Knowledge: Extensive experience and deep understanding of the Northern market (specifically Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan, etc.) is essential.

- Proven Sales & P&L Acumen: Demonstrated success in driving revenue and managing a regional P&L.
- Operational Excellence: Strong knowledge of QSR operations, supply chain, and inventory management.
- Hygiene & Safety Focus: In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP principles) and a relentless commitment to hygiene.
- Leadership: Exceptional team management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a large team.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop regional strategies and translate them into actionable plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Problem-Solver: Agile and decisive, with the ability to handle operational challenges effectively.
