Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is based in Dehradun. As an Area Collection Manager, you will oversee the collection processes within your assigned area, ensuring that payment recoveries are completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will monitor overdue accounts, evaluate collection trends, guide and train collection teams, and implement strategies to minimize delinquency and achieve monthly collection targets. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and regular reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of debt collection practices, account recovery methods, and managing delinquent accounts
  • Proficiency in team management, training field executives, and formulating collection strategies
  • Communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills for resolving customer disputes effectively
  • Analytical skills for monitoring collection trends, creating reports, and providing action plans
  • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks related to collection and recovery is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in collections, team leadership, or financial services
