Looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team, specializing in Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and its techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and technology, such as point-of-sale systems.
